Data pipeline
Historical OHLCV for the Top-100 cryptocurrency universe is sourced from a public, openly-licensed market dataset and stored in our own database. Prices are represented as daily candles (open, high, low, close, volume). The BTC 4-hour feed is stored separately for technical analysis.
Metric definitions
- 24H / 7D / 30D change: percent change between the latest close and the close N sessions earlier.
- ATH / ATL: maximum high and minimum positive low across the entire history on record.
- 30D volatility: standard deviation of daily closes over the last 30 sessions, expressed as percent of mean.
- Fear & Greed Index: composite 0–100 sentiment reading sourced from a public index provider.
Processing
All computations run server-side in PHP. Charts are inline SVG rendered at request time. Nothing on this page fetches third-party JavaScript.
